It’s time for Beer Tech to grow. We’re a teamwork-minded crew with a heavy focus on customer service. We build excellent draught systems and want to help you become an excellent draught system technician.
About the job
You’ll start by learning our cleaning process and basic draught-system maintenance. Depending on your experience, you’ll be paired with one of our senior techs for several weeks to learn the ropes. Over time, you’ll join us on system installations and learn the process of transforming a blank fridge and bar top into the perfect spot to enjoy a pint.
No two days are the same at Beer Tech. One day you’ll work alone focusing on small systems and kegerators, and the next you’ll work with whole team at one of our larger clients’ locations. We have customers from Shelburne to Antigonish, so you’ll get to see a lot of the province each month.
This is a salaried position. Most days we work 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., but we all pitch in to help when emergencies arise after hours. Once your training is complete, you’ll be be on-call every fifth weekend responding to emergency calls.
We provide uniform shirts, tools and equipment, and will reimburse you for safety shoes and work pants.
About you
You have your own vehicle to which you have constant access. (We pay a monthly car allowance.)
You like to know how things work, and have experience working with hand tools and power tools.
You are comfortable on your feet for long stretches and can lift 50 lbs safely.
Homebrewers and past brewery and bar staff make excellent draught technicians because they understand the basics of beer.
About us
